Jeremy Buford is a poet, short story writer and novelist. Writing since he was a child, he writes of life lived. His interactions with people , a hunger for adventure and entertainment, with a twist of his influences, spill onto his pages. Samples of his writings can be found on the "Writings" page. You will find short stories and poetry that he offers as an insight to his works.

Born in the South to a southern family, he lived his childhood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Joining the Navy, Jeremy took a spin around the world fulfilling his desire to escape the walls of American in-experience and prudery. Never completing formal schooling, opting to jump into the world's folds, he has never taken tutelage or been given instruction in his passion. Writing only from his core using his broken internal-compass to lead him through the streams of his conscience and creations.

When asked how he came to writing he advised of the following: "Even as a child I always told others that I would be a jet pilot, a superhero and a writer. Since I have found that I am color blind and do not care enough for people to save them, I still hold onto the desire of writing."

Armed with pen and paper Jeremy writes of life lived both by himself and others, bringing to life obsession, anger, hate, sorrow, fear, joy, verve, vehemency, desire, impetuosity, attachment, love, detachment, remorse and absurdities.

Jeremy currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
